FLEET MANAGER, EMISSIONS & EFFICIENCY - SINGAPORE OFFICE TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for the Technical teams Sustainability strategies, solutions and monitoring. Continually pushing
our Sustainability journey to achieve the UN Sustainability Development goals. Develop metrics, and KPIs for benchmarking, maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging technologies and best risk management practices. - Responsible for the Technical team's Decarbonization response, emerging fuels, new technologies, interact
with various Shipyards, Engineering companies, Engine builders. - Lead for the company's technical digitization process, building Business Intelligence tools, towards connecting
cross departmental information (Commercial / Finance / Technical). - Lead the technical team's Energy Efficiency program, installation of Energy Saving Devices on vessels,
monitoring the hull & machinery improvements. - Responsible for the organization's Vessel performance solution, harnessing data towards prudent decision
making and risk evaluation, predictive maintenance program.
- Evaluate and implement various off-the-shelf Vessel performance software solutions
- Evaluate and Implement hardware solutions for automatic data collation like - Torque meters, Digital
flowmeters. - Evaluate hardware for data logging of ship's instrumentation like engine data, navigational data and
transmitting into shore software for analysis - Electronic logbook implementation
- Data analysis, trending and monitor vessel performance
- Implement ISO 19030 standards for Hull performance solutions
- Review paint application types, cost /performance benefits
- Review engine performance by installing Engine performance monitoring solutions
- Interact with Engine builders to assess engine performance data and implement solutions fleet wide
- Review the cylinder oil consumptions and evaluate new technologies
- Evaluate hull performance improvement solutions like PBFC, etc.
- Creating Vessel performance reports in discussion with the Technical team for improvements.
- Responsible for all Emission regulatory compliance, data collection, verification, liaising with 3rd party auditors -
IMO DCS, EU MRV implementation and compliance, verification, liaising with MRV Verifiers, EEXI requirements, new building EEDI requirements. Maintain awareness of new regulatory requirements on the horizon and plan / execute the company's response. - Responsible for all Emission compliance requirements to 3rd party organizations like Sea Cargo charter,
Poseidon principles. - In charge of Environmental Management system, monitoring all Environmental data
- Represent the organization in various forums on our Environment, Performance related issues

REQUIREMENTS- Holding Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency preferred.
- Strong analytical skills (with research oriented approach) and the ability to translate data into useful analytics
- Project management abilities, with ability to develop, improve and implement safe, and cost effective technical
vessel management processes - Proficient in Business Intelligence tools, harnessing data towards prudent decision making
- An in-depth knowledge of the Emissions regulatory requirements and 3rd party organizations (Poseidon
principles / Sea cargo charter) emission guidance. - Committed and responsible in meeting deadlines with excellent time management skills
- Independent, outcome driven, organized and resourceful
- Strong team orientation and has the ability to manage cross-functional relationships in a dynamic and fast-
paced environment - Ability to travel at short notice and manage 24/7 on call lifestyle.
