Reederei JOHANN M. K. BLUMENTHAL GMBH & CO. KG is one of Germany's oldest shipping companies with a tradition of over one hundred years. The company was founded by consul Johann M. K. Blumenthal, who was the great-grandfather of today's president Dr. Matthias-K. Reith. Since its foundation the company has built, owned and managed large numbers of ships in worldwide trade. The current fleet consists of over 30 vessels; this total includes newbuildings.
