Job Description:

Overall Purpose of The Job

1. Assist in the overall implementation and supervision of the Training Department objectives and functions.
2. Develop and organize a cost effective and realistic training program for all the crew deployed by the company.
 

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

1. Responsible for the delivery of assigned training courses.
2. Provides operational support to the Training Manager
3. Responsible for the delivery, review, update and training in the company Safety Management System for sea-staff prior to engagement in sea going duties.
4. Assists the Training Manager in support and supervision of trainees including cadet inductions
5. Assists the Training Manager and support Cadet development officer in training of trainees
 

Required Experience

ESSENTIAL:
 
  • Computer Literate

  • Chief Mate with min 2 years of experience OR Master

  • Tanker experience preferred

  • DESIRABLE:

  • Ship Management experience
